Cleaning and sanitizing the worktop of a ward trolley remains a necessity.

But we are making these task easier and safer: as of May 2, 2022 the worktop of the PRECISO med cart incorporates this new feature.

The ABS plastic of the worktop is treated with the bacteriostatic agent Plastisafe by Benvic.

Plastisafe is not a coating: it is integrated in the material that makes up the part (in our case ABS plastic).
It uses a non-chemical principle: the electrostatic behaviour of the material is modified and microorganisms are simply repelled, drastically reducing their lifespan.

The Plastisafe treatment is safe for health because it is not a biocide and not based on nanoparticles. It is also biocompatible and food contact compatible.

In a nutshell: PRECISO’s worktops now have a bacteriostatic treatment that is permanent.
